The State Bar of Texas is the fifth largest organization of lawyers in the United States and is the second largest state bar association (with regard to active attorney members) in the United States.  All attorneys licensed to practice law in Texas must become members of the State Bar.

The State Bar of Texas will be holding their annual meeting on June 21-22 at the Marriott Marquis in Houston, TX.  Texas Regional Office Director Hope Shimabuku will be attending the meeting and giving a brief update on the state of the USPTO.
