World Class wave in the heart of the Margaret River surfing region. Breaks consistently and provides big waves not for the faint hearted. Can hold waves over 15 feet and works with most swell directions.
Also known as mainbreak and the point.
Head out from the center of Margaret River out towards Prevelley on Wallcliffe Road. Take the right before you get to Prevelley and head straight for the carpark that over looks the break.
There are holiday lets in Prevelley or accommodation at Margaret River.
Park in the free carpark. It is a short walk down the steps to the reef for the paddle out.
Hire at the surf shop at the Margaret River Resort. Don't hire gear then paddle out at this break - it is for experienced surfers only.
Several in the area.
Wine tasting, but it is quite unusual not to be able to find a wave somewhere along this coast.
