GLOS has recently completed its implementation of QARTOD tests for near real-time sensor data. QARTOD (Quality Assurance/quality control for Real-Time Oceanographic Data) is an IOOS project that lays out standardized tests for key parameters to ensure credible, unbiased reporting of data.

This webinar will provide an overview of QARTOD, briefly describe its implementation, present examples of its application using real-time sensor data, and discuss data provider implications. GLOS is particularly interested in getting input of critical values to use in the QARTOD tests and suggestions for access to and visualization of quality-controlled data and the associated flags.
