Keremas is another of the World class waves that Bali has to offer. Pretty much a well kept secret a few years back, it is now a popular wave. Best surfed mid to low, it produces mouth watering right handers, fast, hollow and loads of power. The end section gets really shallow and care should be taken with the sharp reef and urchins.
The ideal swell directions are from the south and south west, and best from between 3 and 10ft, at mid to high tide.
Travel through Sanur and turn onto the new by pass road that is known as the Ketewel By Pass and keep traveling north along this road through Ketewel, Pabean and Saba until you reach Keramas.
Look for a small blue sign on the right hand side of the road with Keramas painted in yellow and this takes you down a dirt track. It is quite hard to find so keep your eyes open. Drive to the end of the road and you are there.
Free parking, access to the beach.
You will be able to hire a board straight from the beach.
Equipment hire is available throughout Bali.
