Is this South Africa’s prettiest wave? Maybe. Eli Beukes was out there, who was raised along the country’s wild west coast. “It’s super picturesque,” he said. “Blue water barrels pretty much. But not tropical at all, the water is pretty cold. I just know whenever the conditions look like they’re lining up you’d feel stupid not to take a walk down and check it out. Got a lot of good memories surfing here over the years.”

As for how it was? “It’s not difficult to surf,” said Eli. “Just difficult to position yourself. You see a lot of good waves come in but it’s hard to be in the spot for them. It’s quite a big playing field.” For how they got along with this fabulous SA beauty, hit play above.
