A Reformed confession of faith. Drawn up by the 1646 Westminster Assembly largely of the Church of England, it became, and remains the 'subordinate standard' of doctrine in the Church of Scotland and almost all Presbyterian churches.

The Humble Advice of the Assembly of Divines (1647), this is the first published printing of the confession, and includes references to the Bible. Irregular spelling and some patent errors are retained.
