Shaunté Corrina Massard aka Reina Shaunté "...is the epitome of all that's needed to become a star; talent, beauty, brains, and heart."- Broadway World. She is more than a triple threat but also has the fourth threat, social media success, with millions of fans around the world. The actor, singer, dancer, influencer hails from Washington, DC where she studied at Howard University, Bowie State University and received an MFA in Acting at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA before moving to Los Angeles CA to pursue a career in television and film. Reina Shaunte got her start in theatre, but is now in leading roles on one of Youtube's most watched series, Dhar Mann Studios where "We're not just telling stories, we're changing lives." Many of her roles on the series, center around Reina's characters(homeless, single mom, abused wife, etc.) who often struggle with life, career, and relationships but eventually lead to redemption and/or restoration. Creator and Executive Producer of Dhar Mann Studios, Dhar Mann, refers to Reina Shaunte as "the GOAT".
Recently, Reina Shaunte was nominated for a LA Theatre Alliance Award for her performance as a lead actress in the West Coast Premiere of Dessa Rose. Her role as Deena Jones was critically acclaimed in Dreamgirls to the packed and sold out house of the Cupcake Theatre and encore performances at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Some of her other stage credits include Once on This Island, Aida, Ain't Misbehavin', Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, and Passing Strange. She made theatre history(named as Shaunte Corrina Tabb) being apart of the original Studio Theatre's production of In the Red and Brown Water by Tarrell Alvin McCraney in Washington DC, bringing to life the Greek chorus-like, vibrant, sexy and playful role of Nia. Reina Shaunte has appeared on TV and film in guest starring roles on BET's House of Payne, Starz's Step Up 3, Netflix's Selena, and Amazon Prime.
Aside from performing, Reina Shaunte is a wife and mother of three sons. She is a published author of the actor's guide "Finding You in Every Script" on Amazon and Barnes and Noble, a transformational speaker and life coach. She has a heart for her community and uses her platform to promote "Well-thy" living. Her new venture, Anier Productions LLC was created to tell stories that will help transform the broken-hearted to wholeness. She is a gracious ministry partner with Revelation Nation in Simi Valley. Reina Shaunte is managed by Lorna Tate and Cheryl Martin at CMA.
