Hard-working actor Tracy Brotherton shines in the exciting environment of filming. Originally from Southeast Missouri, and now residing in New Orleans, Tracy is currently a featured background actor & cast member in such films as "Shock and Awe" (releasing in 2018) as an U.S. Senator, "LBJ" (Woody Harrelson), as a spectator to the JFK assassination, "Bad Moms" (Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate), as a featured PTA/Party Mom, "Gone Girl" (Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike), as an Aggressive Press Reporter; "Get Hard" (Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart), as a Featured Court Clerk, and "Daddy's Home" (Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg), as an Airline Employee/Flight Attendant. Her work on David Fincher's Gone Girl in Cape Girardeau, led to a part as a boxing fan in ABC TV's "Mind Games" series (Christian Slater), quickly followed by parts on two Will Ferrell films: "Get Hard" and "Daddy's Home", both filmed in New Orleans.
Most recently, she has secured parts in Rob Reiner's "Shock and Awe" as well as "LBJ", filmed in New Orleans and Dallas, respectfully. She has also appeared in 3 episodes of NCIS New Orleans on CBS and will be in the Oprah Winfrey Network series Queen Sugar currently airing on OWN Network.
A B.A./B.S. graduate of Columbia College & Stephens College, Columbia, MO, Tracy loves the process of being part of creating great film, motion-picture art that will live on forever. Her soul is in acting, and she's working to land a big lead part. She has enormous respect for the directors she's worked with, who orchestrate the film. The actors she works with, the casting company backstage, all fascinate and delight her. Listen, listen, listen, and be respectful and very focused - those are the challenges that she loves most about acting. You can't sneeze, you can't cough, you can't even blink. For Tracy Brotherton, it's a fun and rewarding challenge.
A fanatic about the outdoors, she's an active barefoot/trick water skier as well as an avid boater. To fit into the actor's wardrobe, she must remain the same slim size - but it's not difficult for her because the joy of acting is the incentive to stay fit. Not surprisingly, Tracy Brotherton wants to do action movies, but she is also adept at comedy and drama, which are genres in which she's already appeared.
