Fourteen-man Mayo came from behind to rout Tyrone at Carrickmore.

Joe McManus came off the bench to fire in a 1-5 second half tally, and Damien Casey's 12-point haul was not enough to carry the home side to a winning start.

Tyrone led 0-10 to 0-9 at the break and looked set to push on when Mayo's Gary Nolan received a straight red card.

However, the goals started to flow for the visitors when Sean Boland found the net to level. Kenny Feeney added a second, and McManus fired over a string of quality points before the duo added goals to seal victory.
