Deutsch: Im Anflug auf Longyearbyen überfliegt das Linienflugzeug von Oslo den Nathorstbreen im Torrell Land auf Spitzbergen. bei guten Wetterbedingungen sind die zahlreichen Zuflüsse zum Zentralgletscher sichtbar. Das Foto wurde kurz vor Mitternacht in der Mitternachtssonne aufgenommen.
English: In the approach to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, the plane from Oslo crosses the Nathorst glacier on Torrell Land. During good weather conditions the numerous inflows to the central glacier can be observed. The image was taken close to midnight with a bright shining midnight sun.
