Photograph licensed with {{PD-BNF}} (deprecated). No proof that the BNF relased it into the public domain or under the cc-by-sa 4.0 license. There is no date credited at the source, so it could be possible that was created less than 70 years ago (minimun date for be PD in France). The subject, born in 1928, is still alive. 83.61.247.43 11:36, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- the BnF website states :
- Rights : Public domain
- What am I to believe?

- The English version of the BNF web site does say that. The French version however says « Droits : Consultable en ligne » (rights: viewable online), while the other language versions don't say anything about rights. This confusion was one of the reasons why PD-BNF was deprecated, because you can't really tell if the BNF did actively release something (where they hold the rights) into the public domain, or if it was just a mistake. --Rosenzweig τ 18:28, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
