Object history Dem Wappen liegen mit Blau und Gelb die Farben der Oberlausitz zugrunde. Darin sind im oberen Teil drei Birnen, die sich auf den sorbischen Namen von Krauschwitz „Krušwica Birnendorf“ beziehen. Amboss und Hammer im unteren Teil symbolisieren die Eisenverhüttung, die den Grundstein für die Gründung Keulas legte.
