Description
English: This poem illustration was done by Caspar Scheuren in the Düsseldorf Artist Album ("Düsseldorfer Künstler-Album") of 1866. You will find it after page 32. Lithographer was A. Brand. The poem "Der Christabend" (The Christmas Eve) was written bei the poet Emil Rittershaus. You can find the titel as well in letters being part of the artwork. Publisher oft the 1866 edition was Breidenbach & Co., editor was "Wolfgang Müller von Königswinter".
Deutsch: Diese Gedichtillustration wurde von Caspar Scheuren für das Düsseldorfer Künstler-Album von 1866 angefertigt. Sie finden sie eingebunden nach Text-Seite 32. Lithograph war A. Brand. Das dazugehörende Gedicht "Der Christabend" wurde von dem Dichter Emil Rittershaus geschrieben. (Der Text des Gedichtes findet sich ebenfalls im Künstler-Album.) Der Titel "Der Christabend" ist ebenfalls in Buchstaben als Teil der Illustration zu finden. Verleger der Ausgabe von 1866 war die Firma "Lithographisches Institut von Breidenbach & Co. (vormals Arnz & Comp.)", Herausgeber im Jahr 1866 war "Wolfgang Müller von Königswinter".
