| Description |
English: Southeastern Swabia was a tangle of small Imperial abbeys, Free Imperial cities, and counties, symbolised on this map by a black rectangle topped with a crozier, a cross and a vertical bar respectively. A combination of crozier and cross denotes a territory belonging to both an Imperial abbey and an Imperial city. Enclaves with "A" are part of Anterior Austria (Vorderösterreich), those with "F" belong to the principality of Fürstenberg. An iron cross denotes a territory belonging to, or shared with the Teutonic Order. Cropped from a map of Swabia published by R. Wilkinson in 1802.
Français : Le sud-est de la Souabe était un enchevêtrement de petites abbayes impériales, villes libres d'Empire et comtés, respectivement marqués sur cette carte par un rectangle noir surmonté d'une crosse, d'une croix et d'un trait vertical. Une combinaison de crosse et de croix dénote un territoire appartenant à la fois à une abbaye impériale et à une ville libre. Une croix de fer dénote un territoire appartenant, ou partagé avec l'Ordre teutonique.
