Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag versucht, den Stand der Technik beim rechnergestützten Schaltungsentwurf kurz darzustellen sowie Ziele, Schwerpunkte und Besonderheiten des Rechnereinsatzes aufzuzeigen. Einige Beispiele demonstrieren die Anwendung von Programmen, die speziell für die Entwurfsphase konzipiert wurden. Schwierigkeiten bei der Rechneranwendung werden angesprochen.

Summary

This paper briefly describes the state-of-the-art of computer-aided circuit design. Goals and main usage areas are discussed. A number of examples illustrate programs which were written especially for the design phase. Finally some existing problems are pointed out.
