In this mobility experience, which took place from 4 to 8 November at the UAB campus, students worked on two specific challenges.

Climate Change and Migratory Movements included the participation of 15 students from INSA, Lodz University of Technology, Kaunas University of Technology, University of Trento, University of Tampere and University of Stavanger. The challenge, led by lecturer Judith Guifreu of the Department of Public Law and Historical-Legal Sciences, addressed the forced displacements that people are obliged to make due to climate change. During their stay at the UAB, the participants also enjoyed a variety of activities: from games in Barcelona to round table sessions, in which they shared their concerns and responded to the different approaches in teams.

At the same time, 15 students from the universities of Hamburg, Trento, Kaunas University of Technology, Tampere and INSA were challenged by Teresa Sordé, lecturer of the Department of Sociology, to work on Tackling The Housing Crisis: Strategies for lowering rent in urban communities, in which solutions were sought to enable the Terrassa City Council to address high rental prices while guaranteeing access to housing and stability for residents. Participants had the opportunity to attend talks with various public institutions of the municipality and visit sites such as the Barcelona Provincial Council.

Both groups prepared a presentation to highlight the points covered during their stay.

This experience has allowed the students to understand real-life problems first-hand, and they did so by having the opportunity to share it with other students from all over Europe, somwhting which has broadened their vision.
