With this edit, Editor Jmertel23, using reFill, changed this citation:

In the former, the first external link has died. But, with this edit, InternetArchiveBot had provided the properly functioning {{webarchive}} template. The edit by Editor Jmertel23 and reFill turned that perfectly adequate citation into non-functioning gibberish.

With this edit I reverted part of that reFill edit.

A few hours later, Editor Catfurball reverted with an edit summary: You are wrong it is required by Wikipedia. I would like to know just how I am wrong and why a badly broken citation is required by Wikipedia. Editor Catfurball, can you elaborate please?

Garbage formatting is never required on Wikipedia. As a matter of fact, the opposite is true. I reverted.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 17:48, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
