I read some of a discussion linked in the long statemant [https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Le_Bistro/9_avril_2024#Jean-Paul_Gour%C3%A9vitch], and the WMF lawyer there seems to be saying that it generally helps the legal department when the encyclopedic content is good quality, so they don't have to defend crap in court. I'll try to keep that in mind if I do more edits in the general area. And I think the deleted article was pretty ok from the WP-perspective.
