English: New Guinea. Radio Operator, Cpl. John Robbins of Louisville, Nebraska, 41st Signal, 41st Inf. Div., operating his SCR 188 radio in a sandbagged hut at Station NYU. Dobodura, New Guinea. He is transmitting by radiotelegraphy tapping on a telegraph key which turns the transmitter on and off, transmitting pulses of radio waves which spell out a text message in Morse code.
