Yesterday at 8:00 [[User:GorillaWarfare]] posted a comment[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk%3AWikipedia_Signpost%2F2018-08-30%2FNews_and_notes&type=revision&diff=857209741&oldid=857208990] to a Signpost article written by [[User:Kudpung]]. I explained why this was a personal attack at 9:30, and asked her to remove the post[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:GorillaWarfare&diff=prev&oldid=857218640]. Her reply was [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:GorillaWarfare&diff=prev&oldid=857269005 "I won't be removing it."]
After I read this, I removed the PA, only to be reverted by GorillaWarfare nearly immediately. I warned her on her talk page that further reversions would lead to a block, she reverted again anyway, and I blocked her for 24 hours.
The PA was then reinstated by [[User:Drmies]], and the block undone without consultation by [[User:Fuzheado]].
Inbetween, there was discussion at GorillaWarfare's talkpage, in the sections "You are getting things consistently wrong" and "Personal attack". Opinions were divided about nearly everything, with some people politely disagreeing, and some people adding inflammatory[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AGorillaWarfare&type=revision&diff=857253407&oldid=857250769] or baseless[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AGorillaWarfare&type=revision&diff=857256741&oldid=857256274][https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AGorillaWarfare&type=revision&diff=857253877&oldid=857253407] statements, which didn't help the discussion one bit.
So, how to proceed? Is the original comment (about Kudpung continuing a misogynistic campign by writing that Signpost article) a personal attack or not? Is repeatedly reinstating that comment despite warnings a blockable offense? Is undoing the block without consultation, or reinstating the comment, a problematic action?
