Mascha Kaléko? - There's a pic of an art installation in her article, - could we still have a photo? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:56, 1 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mascha Kaléko done. As far as I know, so long as we don't have any other ID photos of her on the article, an ID photo in the infobox is OK. Storye book (talk) 09:31, 1 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
It is lovely, thank you! - Stoika Milanova? - violinist. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:05, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Stoika Milanova done. Storye book (talk) 09:28, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Another lovely one! Thank you, with flowers - was too tired when returning from trip to not only Bach Mass in B minor but also Bruckner's legacy and Ligeti's. See music today for colours - I'll probably preserve that row of visions. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:38, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the flowers pic. Beautiful. and I loved the colours in the Hildegarde pic. Hildegarde of Bingen is one of my favourite composers, although she did nick a few tunes from Islamic morning prayers, removed the melismas and added the harmonies. But that is another story. Storye book (talk) 09:49, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I added the tunes especially for you, and there will be a pic that was almost all green. You could have taken a great pic almost every second, at least minute, but I didn't want to distract my neighbours. The church was packed, for a welcome change. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:59, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! Storye book (talk) 10:07, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You may remember Maryvonne Le Dizès, my story today as on 28 August. Some September music was unusual: last compositions and eternal light, with Ligeti mentioned in story and music. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:53, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Nice violin. You can hear the Menuhin in that, eh? Storye book (talk) 14:29, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good thought. I uploaded 2 more pics of the "light art" to places, Hildegard-green! - Rohan de Saram pic? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:17, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Rohan de Saram done. Storye book (talk) 10:35, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
he is on now, - unbelievable story --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:42, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Today is the birthday of Tabea Zimmermann, and you can listen to the exact concert I mentioned last year ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:46, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, that is a really nice viola, in the Bartok recording. A very sweet and pure tone. Is there any chance of identifying its maker in the article? Storye book (talk) 08:50, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Do you think it's not the one by Patrick Robin identified in the article? - Today: same procedure, and we have last year's opening in the story and this years in music (with violin). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:21, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ooh. I missed that. No doubt it is, then. Storye book (talk) 12:20, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
ps: look what I found cleaning old boxes. The file name should begin RMF, of course. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:36, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Excellent! I have made an ID pic of Jung's face, in case you want to use it? File:Hans Otto Jung 2001 (cropped).jpg. Storye book (talk) 10:48, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

thank you! - Helmut Bauer (bishop)? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:14, 10 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Bauer done. Storye book (talk) 10:50, 10 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Nice pic, but someone on the talk thinks that is a different person. Best reply there. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:27, 10 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have replied. I still believe that the picture I uploaded is Bauer. Storye book (talk) 08:39, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Today I remember an organist who was pictured on the Main page on his birthday ten years ago, and I found two recent organ concerts to match, - see top of my talk. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:28, 11 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Today brought Bauer's timely promotion to the Main page on the day when pieces from Mozart's Requiem were performed for him. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:39, 12 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Maria Luise Thurmair? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:08, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Maria Luise Thurmair done. Storye book (talk) 10:23, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Great. She looks like I thought she would ;) - Wish we had a free image, for all her works. For equal opportunity: how about her husband? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:11, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Georg Thurmair done. Their ID pictures are from the same photograph, which is rather nice. Storye book (talk) 15:05, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's cute! - Garbis Aprikian? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:06, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Garbis Aprikian done. Storye book (talk) 16:46, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! - I made Leif Segerstam my big story today. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:01, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I had a listen on your YouTube link. Some beautiful tones in that. Storye book (talk) 15:08, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
agree - Barbara Owen (organist)? - small pic is in the obit --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:20, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Barbara Owen (organist) done. Storye book (talk) 19:58, 19 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
... and on the Main page! - I always get your pics when I ask Google, DYK? - My story today is a cantata 300 years old, based on a hymn 200 years old when the cantata was composed, based on a psalm some thousand years old, - so said the 2015 DYK hook. I had forgotten the discussion on the talk. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:27, 20 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank for the watch link for that one. He composed that piece on the organ for sure, didn't he. So smooooth! You can almost hear his feet on the pedals. Storye book (talk) 17:41, 20 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You said that well ;) - Maks Levin? - had a pic but it was just deleted. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:15, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK, will look tomorrow. Storye book (talk) 19:37, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Maks Levin done. A very sad story to read. Storye book (talk) 08:39, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, very sad, but not to be ignored. Barbara Kolb? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:39, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Barbara Kolb done. Storye book (talk) 16:22, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, - must be great to have one pic everywhere ;) - Now Gustavo Gutiérrez: I believe that a face crop of the image in service, dressed green, would serve better for the top, - do you agree? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:36, 24 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Forgot to mention that I thought of you when I took the rose pic in the latest "places" (18 Oct). The previous day, I actually took a pic where a new song was "given" to me, over a good meal with that view. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:38, 24 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Gustavo Gutiérrez done. See: File:Gustavo Gutiérrez (1b).jpg. Storye book (talk) 16:58, 24 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
... and he is gracing the Main page in green. I matched a (different) green in music on my talk. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:19, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Walter Jacob? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:47, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Walter Jacob done. I'm quite pleased with that one. The picture was tiny after I cropped out the face, but I upscaled it, and it looks OK as a thumbnail. Storye book (talk) 15:04, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
What a face! Thank you for the find and the upscaling! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:29, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, he has great dignity. Storye book (talk) 16:34, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes! I hope you followed to a rich day. Today a caricature, for a change. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:39, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Greetings from Madrid where I took the pic of assorted Cucurbita in 2016. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:26, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Great pic! Storye book (talk) 08:05, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
