Summary

The flag of Great Britain as used till 1801. Strictly speaking, this image is not redundant to Image:Union flag 1606 (Kings Colors).svg, because it is in the proportions 1:2 rather than 2:3. The proportions 1:2 would be anachronistic for the 18th century, but they're the ones widely in use today in Loyalist towns in Canada, such as Picton or Adolphustown. I'm uploading this file specifically so it can serve as an illustration for pages on United Empire Loyalists. QuartierLatin1968 21:33, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
