Summary
DescriptionMeteor080117.jpg |
English: I captured a vibrant meteor entering the atmosphere in the middle of the night back in August, 2017. I was intervaling 10 second exposures on Pensacola Beach when a green flash lit up the sky as if it were daytime. After realizing what had just happened, I ran to my camera and saw that I captured the luckiest shot of my life, center-frame. |

This shot was submitted to the American Meteor Society and will be featured on an upcoming episode of "How the Universe Works" on Dec. 2nd.
This shot was pure luck and coincidence. I simply had my camera shooting in the right place at the right time.
