DescriptionThe lighthouse on Sule Skerry (geograph 6164846).jpg
English: The lighthouse on Sule Skerry
Sule Skerry is one of the remotest lighthouses off the north coast of Scotland. It was first operational in 1895.
There is a large bank of solar panels, facing south of course. But I imagine that in these northern locations they provide only a small amount of the energy needed to run the light.
