English: Trumland House The house was designed by David Bryce - who was also responsible for Balfour Castle on Shapinsay - and completed in 1876 for the laird, General Sir Frederick William Traill-Burroughs. Although it is not open to the public - and is currently being renovated - it is possible to visit the gardens for a small fee.
