2024 Australia Tour

[edit]

I'm not as familiar with the copyright policies of Australian governments as I am with British ones, nor do I have as much experience navigating their websites. Do we have any free photographs of the event? Robin S. Taylor (talk) 10:29, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The image here (amongst others), by Free Malaysia Today, is published with CC BY 4.0 ATTRIBUTION 4.0 INTERNATIONAL Deed. Is that uploadable here? Martinevans123 (talk) 10:39, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I only see one picture there which is credited to AP. There's also a copyright notice at the bottom of the page which says "Copyright © 2009 - 2024 FMT Media Sdn Bhd (1235453-U) All Rights Reserved" and the site's copyright notice doesn't mention cc[1]. Where are you seeing the CC-BY-4.0 notice? DrKay (talk) 10:53, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Under Google image search filtered on "Creative Commons licenses". Martinevans123 (talk) 10:58, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it's useable; it's this image (also available via AP) by Brook Mitchell[[2][3]. Either FMT or Google have their settings wrong. DrKay (talk) 12:24, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Thanks for clarifying. It did look surprising. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:31, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
