RFC: Inconsistencies on the dates

[edit]

This article states that the first creation of the Lordship of Lobstein ended in 1547 when it was transferred to the Plauen line. Looking at the genealogical tables of the Reuss branches I''ve found out that Henry IV is listed as Lord of Lobenstein since 1550, not 1547. I've found no source that supports the claimed dates.

Another matter of fact is that the German Wikipedia doesn't list Lobenstein (1st creation) in the Reuss-Lobenstein page, is it because it was snever actually independent, hence not counted as a state, or is it just an omission?

What should we do in this case, leave it as it is (albeit unsourced) or follow the German Wikipedia example?

Procedural close. There needs to be a discussion about a matter before opening an RfC, as per WP:RFCBEFORE. Opening an RfC is a last resort if that discussion comes to an impasse, it is not a first resort. If you feel a change should be made, make it. If someone disputes it, discuss it with them. If that discussion reaches an impasse, then an RfC might be appropriate. Seraphimblade Talk to me 10:36, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
