Patricia Greene, National Security Agency
Mark Motley, National Security Agency
Bryan Weeks, National Security Agency
Abstract

In this paper, we describe a low-latency block cipher (ARADI) and authenticated encryption mode (LLAMA) intended to support memory encryption applications.

Note: Revised to correct a typographical error identified by M. Saarinen, and to add a clarifying footnote. Revised to clarify a restriction on the choice of IV length (cf. ePrint 2024/1328).
