Description
Describe the bug
AFL++ fails to build with unicorn enabled on newer cmake versions
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Be on arch-like distro
make distrib
Expected behavior
AFL++ builds
Screen output/Screenshots
Actual:
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:4 (cmake_minimum_required):
Compatibility with CMake < 3.5 has been removed from CMake.
Update the VERSION argument <min> value. Or, use the <min>...<max> syntax
to tell CMake that the project requires at least <min> but has been updated
to work with policies introduced by <max> or earlier.
Or, add -DCMAKE_POLICY_VERSION_MINIMUM=3.5 to try configuring anyway.
The relevant CMakeLists.txt is AFLplusplus/unicorn_mode/unicornafl/unicorn/CMakeLists.txt
.
Additional context
My cmake version is cmake version 4.0.3-dirty . Apparently (discord v. toka):
unicorn is updated. just that aflpp is using outdated one
