In the older version there were a lot more option for an admin.

The options are still there, when you navigate to Settings

Can't change roles from users.

Currently there is no real concept of different roles. A user has access to everything, and there is no distinction between a regular user, admin user etc.
This is something that we plan to add in a future version, to be able to add more fine-grained control for different users and roles

Can't create direct users

There is an option to invite users, which will send them an email which they can accept to be added to a company.
currently there is no option to add a user directly without them having to accept an invite, but this is something that can be looked at in a future version
