What documentation issue do you want to solve?

When I type into the search box, the dropdown appears with suggestions. If I hit Tab, I can then use the keyboard to scroll through the results.

However, if I click back on the searchbox and press any key, the focus moves back into the dropdown. There's no way to modify the existing search phrase without hitting the "X" button to clear the search.

Tested in Edge and Firefox.

What do you think is the correct solution?

Ensure that we can type in the search box even when the dropdown is open.
