## When not to use this process
4646

47-
We are not currently accepting dispute requests to "adopt an abandoned
48-
package" or "Report Squatting" as we re-evaluate and update the overall
49-
dispute process.
47+
We are not currently accepting dispute requests due to lack of activity
48+
related to a specfic name. If you do not have a reasonable claim
49+
to the name you are requesting, we will likely deny the request.
50+
51+
There are cases where a party may have reasonable claim to a specific name
52+
but giving that name to the requesting party would pose a supply-chain risk
53+
to the npm ecosystem. In such cases, requests may be denied independent of
54+
the validity of the claim.
