The documentation of the phpunit-bridge needs to be updated to distinguish the usage with PHPUnit 9 and older and the usage with PHPUnit 11+:

  • the feature set of the component is different (for PHPUnit 11+, the bridge does not provide deprecation reporting at all, in favor of the PHPunit native feature)
  • the registration of the component in the phpunit.xml is different
