Gemma Frisius (natus Regnier Gemma apud Dokkum die 9 Decembris 1508; mortuus Lovanii die 25 Maii 1555) fuit mathematicus et cartographus Nederlandicus qui globum inventus a modo trigonometriae est. Et longitudini, atem navigandem et methematicam adhibitam studuit.
