View deleted CSS/JS pages as a normal admin
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

As a local wiki admin (but not interface admin), I can delete user CSS/JS pages since T200176. However, I cannot view the deleted content. This means that after accidentally deleting a page, I can’t even email its content to its owner (or paste it into a non-executable wiki page). I also don’t understand why this hiding is useful in the first place—editing or restoring a CSS/JS page can be used to execute malicious code on other users’ computers, but I can’t imagine how simply viewing a deleted revision can be abused. So I ask to enable viewing deleted CSS/JS pages (preferably both user and site ones), or for an explanation why this would be a bad idea.
