MakoLab achieved the highest quarterly sales in the company’s history in Q4 2024, with revenues of PLN 20.7 million, marking a 16% increase in comparison to the same period in 2023. We improved all our profitability indicators over the year 📈 The most important 2024 results are: • sales revenue: PLN 72.3 million • EBITDA: PLN 5.9 million • net profit: PLN 4.04 million Summarising Q4, we highlighted two innovative deployments: • a solution that leverages AI technology to analyse damages and digitally certify used vehicles. As part of its work as an authorised Renault Partner, Krubagroup. Salon Samochodów has opened ReNew Factory, Poland’s first used car ‘factory’. Naturally, given our long-term collaboration with Renault, MakoLab had a contribution to make to the project 💪  We provided IT support and created IT tools to facilitate the process of verifying a vehicle’s status and certifying it. The automation of expertise on the basis of photo analysis performed via AI mechanics and a mobile version of the app used to carry out the certification process and Digital Used Car Certificate generation are just two elements of the system.  We’re sure that this is the beginning of a new collaboration 😊 So... what exactly is ReNew Factory?  ReNew Factory is a fresh initiative from Renault Group and KrubaGroup is running it in Poland. The plan is to return 5,000 vehicles to use annually by thoroughly refurbishing them. Once restored, each vehicle receives a Refactory certificate guaranteeing its high quality. This increases its value in comparison to other used cars on offer. Szymon Kruba, the CEO of KrubaGroup, described Renault’s project to the moto.pl website like this: “Thanks to ReNew Factory, we’re able to offer customers used cars that look like new. It’s all possible thanks to our leveraging of tried and trusted renovation methods and parts, along with cutting-edge repair techniques. We’re proud to be part of a project that’s contributing to promoting a sustainable and ecological approach to mobility.” And at MakoLa, we’re proud to be part of a small automotive revolution in support of sustainable development. It’s also fits in perfectly with the on-trend thinking behind the rise of the circular economy.
