Filmed in Rochester, NY over an eight-month period, Chris Lavelle (a former Sergeant in the United States Army) was able to gain the trust of these men who served in conflicts from Vietnam to our current wars. This was the first and only time that media of any kind would be granted access inside the Richards House, a veteran only homeless shelter.
