His everyday life combines a tough work in a foundry and esoteric research in the representation of fire in graphic arts. Maxime Stratti is a media personality and thinker from the far-right wing. One day the latter is celebrating his new book publication, Jerome tries to approach him: he finds him chatting with the foundry foreman then a seductive journalist. Seeing these political opposites together wears down Jérôme beliefs and he gradually becomes haunted by visions of flames.
