Using contributions from ordinary people all across the UK, each reciting a line from the poem, the film is a beautiful and diverse tapestry which bravely tackles all aspects of British life including the most unsavory of this small island's history, its criminals, its colonial legacy, its wars and the ensuing loss. However these challenging beats are juxtaposed with celebratory moments such as our staging of the Olympics, our sporting triumphs and proud regal history.
