emoji-regex-xs ^1.0.0 -> ^2.0.0 age adoption passing confidence

Release Notes

slevithan/emoji-regex-xs (emoji-regex-xs)

v2.0.0

Compare Source

This release is not a breaking change, and in fact it makes emoji-regex-xs even more compatible with emoji-regex. The release's major version number was bumped to be cautious, in case any libraries were relying on the stricter emoji definition from v1.0.0.

  • Added support for matching many more underqualified emoji (including all of those included in Unicode's emoji-test.txt list), to better match emoji-regex and real-world emoji use.
  • Further reduced size from ~0.3 to ~0.2 kB.
