- The Minions of Unicron are an organization from the Beast Wars: Uprising portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Under the control of Cryotek, the Minions of Unicron were once the most feared name in the Cybertronian criminal underworld. Their symbol is a crude representation of the Chaos Bringer himself.

Beast Wars: Uprising
When the Darksyders appeared on the scene in Iacon, they began subverting the Minions' influence. Once reliable stooges, informants and cops began turning on them, as the upstart gang began to gain more and more ground over the following twenty-five stellar cycles. An attempt from Cryotek at offering an alliance was viciously rebuffed. As the Grand Uprising raged, the Minions were pushed further into a corner, until four years into the war when there was a failed Darksyder hit on Cryotek. The shooter, a sap named Doom-Lock, was interrogated, and from there the Minions were able to track down the residence of the Darksyder leader Megatron. Determined to decapitate their leadership and absorb his rivals, Cryotek took his top enforcers to Megatron's domicile.
Megatron was waiting for them, and offered Cryotek a chance to join him. Cryotek had no intention of joining him, and violently rebuffed the offer... at which point it turned out Megatron hadn't been there at all. Numerous drones which had been lying in wait activated, slaying Cryotek's goons. Faced with no choice, Cryotek accepted Megatron's terms. Of course, given their rivalry, Megatron felt the need to take precuations, and introduced the Minions leader to his mnemosurgeon Psychobat.
After Cryotek's surgery, the Minions were absorbed into the Darksyders, the remaining leaders quickly falling into line. Though one or two Minions noticed the change in Cryotek's behaviour, none of them were terribly concerned. Not All Megatrons
