I'm Mr. Green Christmas, I'm Mr. Sun
I'm Mr. Heat Blister, I'm Mr. 101!

Cranky and pessimistic, Swelter isn't exactly pleasant company, unless you happen to be his best friend Glacius. Swelter's bad attitude and penchant for violence means that he's right at home in the Decepticon ranks, and his flame-throwing weaponry—capable of melting even solid metal—allows him to torch any Autobots who get in his way. In the past, this rowdy duo hired themselves out to various Decepticons, but these days the only thing that keeps them in line is their mutual fear of their new master Razorpaw.

They call me Heat Miser; whatever I touch
starts to melt in my clutch!
I'm too much!

Swelter and Glacius regularly teamed up with Decepticons. They were imprisoned on the Alchemor only to be freed when the ship crashed on Earth. There they teamed up with Razorpaw, despite his poor treatment of them. When Optimus Prime's team appeared on the hunt for Razorpaw, they attacked the former Autobot leader and even defeated Drift's Mini-Cons Jetstorm and Slipstream, but retreated when faced by the other Autobots. They brought the team of trackers to Razorpaw's attention, and accompanied him as he followed them to a military base where the pair succeeded in trapping Drift and Sideswipe in a metal cocoon. They followed that up by taking out Optimus himself, but it turned out Optimus had been feigning, and while the pair argued with Razorpaw, Optimus demolished the trio. Cover Me

Swelter's stasis pod was later taken back to Cybertron by Optimus Prime, Windblade and Ratchet. Decepticon Island (Part 2)

"WHAAATT?!! SNOW IN THE SOUTH?!! NEVER!!!"
  • Mini-Con 4-Pack (Multi-pack, 2016)
This version of Swelter, dubbed "Blizzard Strike Swelter", is an ice-themed redeco of the fire-themed Mini-Con. Okiedokie. He transforms into a Cybertronian torpedo with a mostly-one-step autotransformation. As a torpedo-style Mini-Con, he can attach to and launch from the Deployer Fracture toy.
This four-pack also comes with Blizzard Strike Backtrack, Scorch Strike Beastbox, and Scorch Strike Undertone. It was also the first Mini-Con release for Robots in Disguise's 2016 product, so three of its "mission redeco" figures hit shelves before the characters' "normal" versions were available.
He shares engineering with fellow Decepticon Mini-Con Divebomb.
This mold was also redecoed into Glacius.

I never wanna know a day that's under 60 degrees
I'd rather have it 80, 90, 100's a breeze!
  • Swelter (Mini-Con, 2016)
  • Accessories: Armor sprue (chest armor, battle mask, left & right flamethrowers, 2 nozzles, 2 flame-effects)
Part of the third wave of single-packed Mini-Cons, Swelter's individual release puts him in his original fire-themed coloration. This time around he comes with a Decepticon-sigil-shaped sprue that he can attach to, which has a number of clear plastic armor pieces that can be attached to him in both robot and torpedo modes (and of course work with his prior "Blizzard Strike" version).
This wave was largely skipped by larger brick-and-mortar stores in the US, but began to filter out through discount chains like Marshalls and Five Below by the 2016 holiday season.

Oh, some like it hot. But I like it really hot!
  • Mini-Con Mega Pack (Multi-pack, 2016)
This version of Swelter, available in a massive fifteen-pack of Mini-Cons released exclusively in some Asian and European markets, has the front surfaces of his arms painted yellow (a rare non-silver paint addition for this set).
All of the Mini-Cons in this set have similar minor deco differences from their individual releases, and all lack armor parts. This set also includes Anvil, Back, Bashbreaker, Beastbox, Divebomb, Hammer, Lord Doomitron, Ratbat, Sandsting, Sawback, Tricerashot, Undertone, Velocirazor, and Windstrike.
