Charming Stay with Room for Improvement

The hotel exudes historical charm, but certain rooms could use an update. I enjoyed a lovely dinner at the nearby White Lion. their menu is delightful. A word of advice, request a room away from the boiler for a quieter night's sleep. a quaint experience.

    maintenance issue

A large twin room provided a comfortable stay, complemented by a clean bathroom. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast featuring perfectly poached smoked haddock. A touch of TLC is needed at the property, as it felt slightly worn in areas. The warm welcome and absence of noise during the night were definite highlights.

Comfort and charm in the heart of town

I stayed one night in a single room and it was great! Super clean and quiet, I actually slept like a baby. The shower was perfect, and the staff were so friendly. Food at the restaurant was solid, loved the vibes. Just a bit of creaky floorboards, which was slightly annoying.
