Movie Of The Year: The Fault In Our Stars

2015 Movie Awards Summary

That's all, folks! The California sun may have set on all your favorite stars, but never fear, movie buff. As usual, big, BIG things went down at the MTV Movie Awards, so feel free to relive them again and again. Thanks to her wickedly funny and sharply insightful monologues, first-time host Amy Schumer had some of the best onscreen and onstage gags in Movie Awards history. From a wayward 'Hunger Games' arrow that took down Jimmy Kimmel to her 100% unforgettable "audition" for 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' it's safe to say Amy straight up KILLED it this year.

The MTV Movie Awards puts the spotlight on the best of the best in movies, and this year's roster of superstar winners is enough to make any movie lover drool. The 2015 Dabs-Myla-drenched show kicked off the night right when action hero Vin Diesel presented Shailene Woodley with a Golden Popcorn for Best Female Performance in 'The Fault In Our Stars.' The beloved flick had a big night overall, when Shailene stepped up again to accept the award for Best Kiss for her adorable make-out moment with 'TFIOS' co-star Ansel Elgort, and the cast gleefully took home the biggest award of the night, Movie of the Year, later that night. The hot-hot-hot cast of 'Magic Mike XXL' steamed up the stage to award Jennifer Lopez with Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, and afterwards Channing Tatum (or "Jeff," as he's better known to '22 Jump Street' fans) accepted the award for Best Comedic Performance from presenters Mark Wahlberg and Jessie J. The last of the Golden Popcorns were handed out to 'Neighbors' BFFs Zac Efron and Dave Franco for Best Duo and Bradley Cooper for Best Male Performance in 'American Sniper.'

On top of all this excitement, three extra special awards were given to three jaw-droppingly talented actors. Shailene Woodley was honored for blazing a distinctive and innovative path for her Hollywood peers with the MTV Trailblazer Award, comedian/actor Kevin Hart was the lucky recipient of the Comedic Genius Award for his bold and irreverent comedic style, and Academy Award-nominated actor, producer, philanthropist, and all-around badass Robert Downey Jr. was honored with the Generation Award for his incredible body of work in the film and television industry.

As if the big wins weren't exciting enough, the audience rushed to its feet when Fall Out Boy brought the house down with a live mash-up of their hit "Centuries" alongside rapper Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen." Brit babe Charli XCX was on hand to electrify the stage with her smash "Famous" with Tinashe and Ty Dolla $ign, who performed his hit single "Drop That Kitty."

If you didn't catch any of these can't-miss clips from the 2015 MTV Movie Awards (or you just need a way to watch the 'Magic Mike XXL' cast dance over and over again--no judgement), we have the entire show on demand for you. Check out all of our exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and flipbooks chock full of the night's best moments. See you next year!
