Marvel Studios officially unveiled its full slate of series on Disney+ for 2025 in a new sizzle reel released on Wednesday, including first looks at live-action series “Daredevil: Born Again,” “Ironheart” and “Wonder Man,” and animated series “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” “Eyes of Wakanda” and “Marvel Zombies.”
“Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” will start things off on Jan. 29; the animated series will bring some new characters to the story of Peter Parker’s first year as the web-slinger, including Nico Minoru (from the Runaways team) and Amadeus Cho (who is a new Hulk in the comics).
Marvel previously announced that “Daredevil: Born Again” will debut on March 4, but the teaser finally provides the first robust look at the show, which will continue the events from the “Daredevil” series that ran on Netflix for three seasons from 2015 to 2018. Someone at Disney+ might have really screwed up.
Late last night, fans who played the first episode of Agatha All Along were treated to a new trailer revealing the first official footage from Daredevil: Born Again, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Ironheart, What If...? season 3, Marvel Zombies, Eyes of Wakanda, and even Wonder Man.
We imagine this was meant to debut alongside tonight's two-part finale, as Marvel Studios typically releases its teasers at prime time rather than when most of the world is asleep!
Regardless, we now have confirmation that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is coming on January 29, with Ironheart set for a June 24 launch, Eyes of Wakanda rolling out on August 6, Marvel Zombies eyeing October (right in time for Halloween), and Wonder Man confirmed for December.
The footage shown here includes an awful lot that wasn't in the trailers leaked from Comic-Con and D23 earlier this summer. In the case of Daredevil: Born Again,...

Following Disney CEO Bob Chapek's ousting from the studio, Bob Iger returned to his executive role and attempted to course-correct the company's film, streaming, and theme park offerings.
In the case of Marvel Studios, it was time to get back to quality over quantity. Despite that, 2025 will still see the release of 10 big and small screen titles from Marvel Studios, Marvel Television, and Marvel Animation as we race towards the end of the Multiverse Saga.
One of the reasons for this jam-packed year is 2023's Hollywood strikes, though some of these movies and TV shows have seemingly sat on the shelf for at least the past couple of years. Regardless, in the wake of a leak revealing the planned premiere windows for four upcoming series, we're breaking down everything Marvel that's heading our way in 2025.

A "Cast & Crew 2023 - 2024" gift for Daredevil: Born Again recently surfaced on eBay and it offers a new look at the Man Without Fear. As you can see, The Kingpin's shadow looms large, but is that Matt Murdock's radar sense or a nod to Bullseye?
Without getting into spoilers, set photos have confirmed he'll appear in the Daredevil revival, so we'd say there's a good chance this is meant as a hat tip to one of 'ol Hornhead's greatest foes.
Talking to Cbr at New York Comic Con, Charlie Cox teased the evolution of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk's dynamic.

Robert Downey Jr. used to hide snacks on the set of Avengers (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Picture this: long filming days on the Avengers set, and Rdj isn’t just acting—he’s also snacking. According to Cinema Blend, Downey was known for bringing a little stash of goodies to keep his energy up. But it wasn’t just for personal enjoyment; somehow, those snacks ended up in the scenes, much to the delight of fans. The production team didn’t bother reshooting because it suited the character perfectly. It provided some much-needed comic relief amid the dramatic moments that made the MCU famous.
Imagine trying to film a high-stakes battle while a cheeseburger mysteriously appears in Stark’s hands. Downey’s improvisation made the scenes more relatable and humorous, solidifying his character as the charming, reckless genius we all adore.

Should we prepare for something deeply personal in Daredevil: Born Again? That could just be reading too much into the title. Lawyer-turned-vigilante, Matt Murdock is returning after years of anticipation. Set to hit Disney+ in 2025, Daredevil: Born Again will mark the return of one of Marvel’s most beloved.
When Daredevil first appeared on Netflix in 2015, it stood out like a sore thumb — especially when compared to the light-hearted tone of the MCU’s mainstream films and shows. Daredevil offered something else – grit, brutality, and moral existentialism.

Set in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen, the Netflix series followed Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who moonlights as a vigilante superhero. Unlike others, not just the MCU, Murdock does not channel the cosmic or something superhuman—he has a blind man’s heightened senses and a relentless moral compass.

Surprises are often the spice of life, yet not all are welcome with open arms. Take the unanticipated release of TV show trailers, for instance, which can cut both ways—a thrill for fans yet a potential headache for studios. As each piece of leaked footage slides into the public domain before its time, it begs the question: does it add fuel to the fire of anticipation or pour cold water on meticulously prepared marketing plans?

The original Netflix Daredevil series didn't really feature that many scenes with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) together, which made it all the more impactful when the two did share the screen.
Though fans are very excited about seeing these bitter enemies reunite for the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, it sounds like the Disney+ revival is going to take a similar approach - but with good reason.
"With these characters, you have to always feel like, were they to cross paths, they would fight to the death," Cox explains to Collider. "It would be hugely explosive. So, you have to, in the writing of a show, in the construction of it, you have to limit the amount of time they can be together or you have to give them real reason for them not to be together.”

Anna Kendrick’s Woman of the Hour takes a fascinating and disturbing piece of true crime history—the story of Rodney Alcala, aka “The Dating Game Killer”—and turns it into a tense, nostalgia-soaked crime thriller. Balancing her trademark charm with unsettling tension, Kendrick directs a stylish film that thrives on its great performances, retro vibes, and a narrative that’ll make you grateful for modern-day DNA evidence. Though it occasionally feels a bit too polished for the gritty 70s setting, Woman of the Hour is a strong debut for Kendrick behind the camera.

Frank Miller is one of the most celebrated writers of comic books, and his run with Batman is one of the best-received works to come out of DC. The Dark Knight Returns is considered one of the most seminal Elseworld stories to come out of DC canon, going so far as to influence the product that WB felt comfortable pitting against the MCU.

However, Miller, like most comic artists has worked for both DC and Marvel, and his first regular gig might give us some insight as to why his world leans towards noir aesthetics and street-level vigilantes. Daredevil: Born Again has a release date, so here’s when fans can see the Man Without Fear hit Disney+!
Created in 1963, Daredevil has been one of Marvel’s best-ever characters. For newbies, when he was a young child, Matt Murdock was accidentally doused with radioactive chemicals that blinded him. However, it also gave Matt super-enhanced senses as well as a “radar sense” to be able to “see” around him.
When his boxer father refused to take a dive and was murdered by mobsters, Matt wanted justice. After becoming a lawyer, Matt took on the identity of Daredevil to fight various criminals. The character hit a high point in the early 1980s under writer/artist Frank Miller, who made him darker and tougher while introducing his major foe of mob boss, the Kingpin and femme fatale Elektra.
The character was brought to life in a 2003 big screen movie starring Ben Affleck,...

With just six months until the release of Daredevil: Born Again, excitement for the show is already building. The beloved cast is set to return, with Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Kingpin, and both Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll back as Foggy and Karen, respectively.
The original version of Daredevil: Born Again was scrapped after filming nearly half of its episodes because it failed to capture the interest of viewers and didn’t align with the tone of Netflix’s original series. It was reportedly intended to be a comedy and courtroom drama with minimal Daredevil action.
I usually refrain from commenting on something I haven’t seen, but this original plan sounds like a complete mess! Fortunately, the executives recognized this and reshot much of the show, bringing back familiar faces and villains while establishing the right tone.

The release of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is around 6 months away, and the show is already generating significant amounts of hype. The show will see the return of a beloved cast, Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio will be back as Kingpin with Elden Henson back as Foggy and Deborah Ann Woll will be back as Karen.
The original ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ was scrapped after filming nearly half episodes, due to the show being uninteresting and not aligning with the tone of Netflix’s original show. Apparently, it was supposed to be a comedy and courtroom drama that would see very little Daredevil action.

The Man Without Fear will return to our screens for a now confirmed 9-episode run on March 4, 2025.

Marvel Studios just wrapped up a surprise Daredevil: Born Again panel at New York Comic Con and the trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ TV series has leaked online.
The sneak peek includes several of the Man Without Fear's new cowls and clashes with The Punisher, Muse, and The Kingpin. We also catch sight of Bullseye, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson (it's widely believed they were added to the series following the widely publicised creative overhaul).
There's also an intriguing, predictably tense, exchange between Matt Murdock and New York City's future Mayor, Wilson Fisk:
Fisk: Sometimes, peace needs to be broken. Chaos must reign.
Murdock: It does seem like we really do understand each other, so if you step out of line, I am gonna be there.
Fisk: This caution that you’re giving me. Who’s it from? Matt Murdock or your darker half?

Though the first teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has not been officially released, a decent-quality leaked version has been doing the rounds, and we also got a pretty good look at the new suit Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock will don in the Disney+ series in a number of set photos that found their way online back when the show was filming.
Now, we have arguably our best look yet at the Man Without Fear's updated costume thanks to a New York Comic-Con display.
The mask appears to be very similar to the one the character wore in the now defunct Netflix series, but a few changes have been made to the rest of the outfit. Matthew Modine is comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler after Trump used footage from the actor’s iconic movie “Full Metal Jacket” in a recent campaign ad touting the U.S. military. Modine starred as the wisecracking marine J. T. “Joker” Davis in Stanley Kubrick’s 1987 anti-war movie. Trump used clips from the film in an ad that he shared on social media with the following caption: “We will not have a woke military!”
“In the 1930s, Leni Riefenstahl directed the Nazi propaganda films ‘Triumph of the Will’ and ‘Olympia,'” Modine told Entertainment Weekly in an emailed statement about Trump’s ad. “These two films are considered among the most effective propaganda ever made. Riefenstahl denied any knowledge of the Holocaust, repeatedly invoking the ‘how could we have known?’ defense. Ironically, Trump has twisted and profoundly distorted Kubrick’s powerful anti-war film into a perverse, homophobic, and manipulative tool of propaganda.

A Comicodigy account on X recently shared what seems to be footage from Daredevil: Born Again. While we can’t verify if this footage will actually be included in the show, the updated suit featured in the clip matches the earlier set leaks we’ve encountered.

After much of the original ‘Born Again’ was scrapped in favor of a script more aligned with Netflix’s version of the show, the first scenes from the show are being leaked online following lengthy reshoots and they in all honesty look brutal.
Comicodigy account on X recently posted what appears to be footage from ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ We have no way of verifying whether the footage will actually appear in the show, but based on the updated suit it aligns with the previous set leaks we’ve seen.

As we’ve mentioned before, 2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for Marvel, both on TV and in theaters. One of the most anticipated projects on the TV front is Daredevil: Born Again, which will mark the full integration of the iconic superhero into the MCU.
The series is set to premiere in March 2025 with a 9-episode first season, and fans are eager to see Charlie Cox’s Daredevil go head-to-head with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin once more. While Kingpin won’t be the only villain, this showdown is the one everyone’s looking forward to.
So far, we’ve heard plenty of rumors and official updates, but the latest buzz—from a popular, though not always reliable, X source—claims the series is fantastic. This news has only heightened fan excitement, building anticipation for what could be a stellar show.

As we have stated more than once before, 2025 is going to be a very important year for Marvel, both in terms of its TV and cinema projects. As far as the former is concerned, the biggest title is definitely going to be Daredevil: Born Again, which will see the titular superhero fully integrated into the MCU.
The series is going to premiere in March 2025 with a 9-episode first season, and the fans cannot wait to see Charlie Cox’s Daredevil face off against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin once again. Of course, Kingpin is not going to be the only villain in the series, but this is the clash everyone is waiting for.

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming projects. The series will feature Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil, along with much of the original cast from Netflix’s Daredevil.
Currently, details about the show’s plot remain scarce. However, it has been confirmed that Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Kingpin, this time serving as the Mayor of New York, a development hinted at in the post-credit scenes of Echo.
Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen and Elden Henson’s Foggy are also set to return, alongside Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. We know that Mayor Kingpin will wage war against vigilantes and street-level heroes, and there’s a looming threat from the villain Muse, whom Daredevil will ultimately confront.
Recently, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of Television, made some intriguing comments about the series. He suggested that the show bears more resemblance to Game of Thrones than we might have expected.

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 begins production in a few weeks but we won't get to watch that first batch of episodes until next March.
The Disney+ series promises to take a deep dive into the street-level corner of the MCU, something we'd once hoped was also the plan for Spider-Man 4.
Now, The Cosmic Circus brings a few rumoured updates on the show and the Man Without Fear's fellow Defenders. As expected, Mayor Wilson Fisk will indeed be hunting down vigilantes, with Echo and Blindspot once on his list. How much has changed since the creative overhaul remains unclear, though we might have to wait for the latter's MCU debut.
The site has also heard rumblings about Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing returning. They later note that, when we next see Finn Jones' Danny Rand, he'll likely be the next Iron Fist's master rather than the hero who...

"Men in Black" is the best kind of blockbuster. It's uncommonly smart, riotously funny, exciting, heartwarming in spots, mean-spirited in others and, best of all, short. Yes, Roger Ebert was right when he said that no good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough, but big summer movies have a tendency to give 'em too much of what they want. Sometimes, it's okay to leave the audience wanting more -- and by this I do not mean a post-credits stinger hyping the next movie in the franchise (although I am old enough to remember the thrill of waiting through the credits of a new 007 movie so I could see the "James Bond will return in..." title that typically gave viewers the title of the MI6 agent's next adventure).
At 98 minutes, "Men in Black" zips by.

Have you heard of the "Escape Plan" franchise? There's no reason to fret if you haven't, as only the first film in the series -- simply titled "Escape Plan" -- was a moderate hit, garnering mixed reviews at the time of release. The remaining two entries ended up being straight-to-video sequels, with little to no marketing to amplify their existence, so it is pretty natural to have completely missed out on the franchise.
Well, due to the baffling, arbitrary nature of Netflix's algorithm, which often leads to overlooked titles landing in their Top 10 ranking lists, 2013's "Escape Plan" is currently at #3 among the streaming platform's Top 10 Movies in the U.S. (via FlixPatrol). This entry has been eclipsed by two equally unconventional titles: the inoffensive, yet mediocre "The Garfield Movie" at #2, and the morbid 90-minute crime documentary "Jailbreak: Love on the Run" occupying the number one spot.

I'm going to cut right to the chase: Matt Smith, known for playing the Doctor on Doctor Who and Daemon Targaryen on House of the Dragon, is filming a new movie called Caught Stealing, a crime drama about a former baseball player who gets caught up in the world of underground crime in 1990. Smith doesn't play the baseball player; that honor goes to Austin Butler, lately of Dune: Part II and Elvis. Smith plays another character: I don't even know his name, but I know he wears a heavily studded jacked, plaid pants with chains, and a straight-up brown, red and yellow mohawk that makes him look like he was merged with a dirty paintbrush in a science experiment gone wrong.
I'm not actually going to post the image here, because it looks like it's a papparazzi photo and I don't want to get sued, but you can see it...
