Born Antonio Renato Aragão in Ceará, Brazil (1935), Renato Aragão discovered his love for arts early in his life. Although a lawyer, he found his great pleasure in acting and writing and in making people laugh. His funny body language embraces everyone from toddler to grown-ups in his naive humor. Renato Aragão started his artistic life on TV Ceará with a program called Video Alegria, gathering various comedians, until the definitive formation of the group "Os Trapalhões" - Renato Aragão, Dedé Santana, Mussum and Zacaria, in 1975 - Tv Tupi.
The program Os Trapalhões figures in the Guiness Book (1997) as the longest-running program broadcast by television in Brazil.
