She is the daughter of the late Soviet-era, Russian-born director and actor Boris Grigorev. She was directed by and appeared with her father in Petrovka, 38 (1980), and was directed by him in Pristupit k likvidatsii (1984) and Pust ya umru, Gospodi... (1989).
