He appeared, unwittingly, along with Mark Dignam and John Bryning on the fade-out of The Beatles' "I Am The Walrus", from the 1967 Album 'Magical Mystery Tour. John Lennon happened upon a BBC radio broadcast of "King
Lear", (in which Philip Guard played "Edgar"), whilst recording the song and included the short excerpt.
