Alex Mackie, ACE, is a BAFTA, EMMY, and ACE nominated film editor. She is based in London, but also works in the US.
Alex received a BAFTA nomination for editing Aisling Walsh's award-winning TV film 'An Inspector Calls', starring David Thewlis, and was nominated for EMMY and ACE awards for the Golden Globe winner 'RKO 281', starring Liev Schrieber. Alex was nominated for EMMY and ACE awards for editing the pilot for the multi-award winning series 'C.S.I. Crime Scene Investigation'. She was also nominated for the I.C.S. Award for Best Editing (Runner up) for Terence Davies' 'Benediction', starring Jack Lowden.
Alex has recently edited Mary Harron's 'Daliland', starring Sir Ben Kingsley, Carol Morley's 'Typist Artist Pirate King', starring Monica Dolan and Kelly Macdonald, and Thaddeus O'Sullivan's 'The Miracle Club', starring Maggie Smith, Laura Linney and Kathy Bates.
