Barbara Pollard is an international performer and comedienne, having performed in her series of hit plays: Moms the Word, all over the world. Her hit show took her to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs (twice) London UK, Glasgow & Edinburgh (Kings Theatres), and all across Canada, including the NWT. Productions of the Moms the Word have been performed in 17 countries and translated into 14 different languages.
She started working in film in 1980, after a successful 5 years at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival: working with Maggie Smith and Jessica Tandy.
Recent work include Virgin River: Seasons 4 and 5. She also has a pivotal role in Champions with Woody Harrelson, directed by Bobby Farrelly as well as a new incarnation for Moms the Word: Talking Turkey, the Christmas show. Early films were Narrow Margin, (with Gene Hackman) Leaving Normal (with Christine Lahti) and Eureka (Gene Hackman) TV work includes: Danger Bay, Bordertown, The X-Files, Supernatural and MacGyver.
